SEBON PUR GOATSMILK SOAP AND SKIN CREAM
If you are ordering soap or skin cream only, you can choose the Royal Mail shipping option at checkout. The cost for this is £4.75. We ship First Class Signed-For, to give your goodies the best chance of arriving safely.
MILK AND KEFIR
Milk products are shipped by 24-hour courier, at a cost of £12. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST CHOOSE THIS OPTION AT CHECKOUT, AS MILK AND KEFIR CAN ONLY BE SHIPPED BY 24-HOUR COURIER. 24 hours means the time that the milk is in transit – it does not mean that your milk will automatically be delivered 24 hours from the time that you order.
The £12 charge applies to mainland UK only. Certain post codes in Scotland will also incur a higher shipping charge. If you are in Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Scottish Highlands, we can deliver to you, but there will be an increased shipping surcharge and longer shipping times. Please contact us for information before ordering.
For any orders larger than 14 pint bottles or 24 1/3 pint bottles, please contact us directly for shipping charges before ordering, as shipping costs increase with weight.
Milk and kefir are shipped frozen, unless you order otherwise. Your products will arrive packed in a cardboard box filled with polystyrene inserts, frozen gel packs and eco-friendly starch pellets, to prevent damage or breakage. This is the best available stay-cold packaging available. Depending on the distance it has to travel, it frequently (although not always!) will arrive still frozen hard enough for you to put straight into your own freezer.
We cannot promise that it will still completely frozen when it arrives - but we do guarantee that it will arrive in fresh, drinkable, unspoiled condition, or we will replace it. For this reason please do not order more at one time than you can drink out of your refrigerator in 9 days!!
The milk can be shipped fresh if you specifically request it. However you assume full responsibility for it if there is a courier error – which happens rarely, but has been known to occur.
We have learned not to ship the kefir un-frozen because as it’s a live product, it keeps expanding in the bottle, and can make a mess of the box by the time it arrives!
The milk and kefir are both frozen immediately after bottling. This keeps the taste and purity of the product intact.
MIXED ORDERS
We are happy to mix and match kefir, milk and soap for you if you wish. Please contact us at 01239 654 672 or email us at info@chucklinggoat.co.uk if you wish to make up a mixed order, and you’re having trouble getting the website to cooperate.
Please note: we have found Celtic Couriers to be very professional and reliable. But there is no 24-hour courier service in the UK that actually guarantees 24-hour delivery. Drivers get sick, or caught in traffic, or have to deal with a puncture or a break-down. Sometimes shipments get left at the hub. Unfortunately there is no compensation offered if this occurs. We don’t like it either! But it’s apparently one of the unavoidable risks that goes along with delivering perishable goods.
