Here at Chuckling Goat, we are not looking to continually grow our business. Instead, we think the time has come to deepen it. To us, this means continually getting better at what we do – and becoming ever more connected to our community.
We love supporting great causes and are pleased to have launched our Random Acts of Kindness Campaign! ✨
Do you know someone who deserves a Random Act of Kindness? A small but mighty charity that works tirelessly to help others? We’d love to hear about them – email info@chucklinggoat.co.uk with “Random Acts of Kindness” in the subject line.
We’re loving the feel-good factor of donating CG goodies to charities big and small, local and further afield, nominated by YOU and our team members. Take a look below at the donations we’ve made so far…
SANE
A thoughtful treat for the incredible volunteers at SANE, a mental health charity 💙
Our herbal teas make the perfect pick-me-up on a chilly winter’s day, and we were delighted to share some with the amazing team at SANE as a small token of appreciation for their incredible work.
SANE is a prominent UK mental health charity committed to improving the lives of everyone affected by mental illness.
Here is what they say –
“The charity aims to:
• Raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions.
• Combat the stigma surrounding mental illness and fight to improve frontline services for individuals and carers.
• Provide support, information and guidance through its helpline SANEline, email and ongoing support services, Textcare and Online Forum.
• Promote and host research into the causes of mental illness and the effectiveness of treatments and therapies at the Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE Research in Oxford.
SANE’s vision is to help create a world in which there is no shame or blame surrounding mental illness, which it believes needs to be recognised as one of the greatest challenges facing society and must be treated with the same seriousness as physical health conditions.”

Classical Reflection
Naomi and Hannah Moxon, identical twin sopranos known as Classical Reflection, are proud patrons of the charities Music Man Project, Anxiety UK, and Guide Dogs UK.
Recently, they organised a charity concert that showcased an array of outstanding musical theatre performances while raising funds for Guide Dogs.
We were delighted to support this event by providing thank-you gifts for the talented performers.
Our gut health products were a perfect match as the performers focus on keeping their bodies healthy!
We think these photos beautifully capture the spirit of the event and our Sing Me To Sleep Tea!
Calon Tysul
Calon Tysul (meaning “The Heart of Llandysul”) is a well-loved non-profit charity that was established to take over the management of our local leisure centre after the council decided to close it.
A dedicated group of trustees now oversees the centre, offering a variety of sports and wellness activities, including bilingual swimming lessons, chair yoga, and spaces for local clubs to gather.
Calon Tysul is a cornerstone of community life, making wellness activities affordable and accessible to all.
Supporting our community is a core value for Chuckling Goat, so we were thrilled to donate a hamper of skincare goodies to help Calon Tysul raise funds for the centre’s operation.
If you’re local to CG HQ, visit their website to see what they offer!
Picton Ward, Glangwili Hospital

Diolch yn fawr iawn!
Herefordshire Reuse & Recycling Group
We aim to leave things better than we found them, so we really appreciate the efforts of the Herefordshire Community Reuse & Recycling Group! ♻️💚
Their main focus is to help protect the environment by promoting and making recycling easier for everyone, reducing the number of goods going into landfills, and reusing goods to support those who need them most – it’s a win-win!
Here’s how they’re doing it:
“We do this by receiving and collecting donations of household goods, including furniture and clothing. We reuse what we can to support a number of agencies such as social services and refuges, by passing on the usable furniture and household goods free of charge. These are used to rehome people in need and avoids social services spending taxpayer money on buying new. We also support social services, schools and other agencies by giving clothing, toys and bicycles etc for children in the care system. We have also helped homeless charities, sent sleeping bags to the Ukraine and supported numerous other charitable enterprises in Herefordshire.“

A huge diolch to all involved at Herefordshire Community Resuse & Recycling Group – we hope you all enjoyed the well-deserved treats! ✨
Tuppenny Barn
Another of our customers nominated the wonderful charity “Tuppenny Barn” for our Random Acts of Kindness Campaign ✨
Maggie, CEO, was thrilled when we contacted her to arrange to send a goodie box as a thank you for all their hard work!
Here is what Tuppenny Barn says:
“Our vision is to create a better future for our children through inspiring communities to learn about sustainable and organic food.
We cultivate and harvest organic produce, using this to create learning experiences for all ages and to promote the benefits of growing, cooking and eating healthy food.
From hosting school trips and after-school clubs, to workshops and holiday activities, we teach children where fruit and vegetables come from, the benefits of eating nutritional food and give them the skills to grow and prepare their own meals. We have also established a Young Carers project, which further supports local youth through our unique educational environment.”

A huge diolch to all at Tuppenny Barn for working so hard to create a better world for future generations! 🌿💚
James Support Group
One of our customers nominated James Support Group. This admirable charity offers support for all affected by suicide & those who suffer suicidal thoughts.
Here is what they say:
“Whether you are a mum, dad, husband, wife or partner, brother or sister, aunt or uncle, granny, grandad, friend or colleague we are here to help you.
We are not councellors, just a family stricken by grief who are prepared to help others in the same situation. We have taken it upon ourselves to attend various Training events & information sessions, and actively network with other groups & organisations for the common good. Since becoming a registered charity in October 2020, we are now able to expand our support service to cover The Scottish Highlands, where we provide monthly support groups, break out personal sessions as required, a 24/7 Helpline & various other support events throughout the year.”

Seven Spokes Home Education
Seven Spokes, a special charity nominated by one of our customers, was started by a group of parent volunteers to provide alternative education for children with diverse needs.
Here is what they say:
“The learning at Seven Spokes speaks to the soul of the child. Through imagination and feeling, as well as ‘doing’ they experience a range of topics, in an age-appropriate way, that help them to understand the world and their place in it. We create a positive, encouraging learning environment that enables each child to thrive and grow taking into account their diverse learning needs. This is a holistic form of education, celebrating each child’s unique gifts and their contribution to their community within the framework of the Head, Heart and Hand.”
If you are in the Somerset area and are interested in your child joining this project or would like to read more about their work or donate, please visit their website or Facebook page! 🏡💚
A big thank you to the Seven Spokes team for this great photo!

Here’s what the Alzheimer’s Society say:

For over 40 years, Alzheimer’s Society has been a powerful force for change, improving the lives of people living with dementia. We’ve spent time listening to people who deal with the disease every day, and amplifying those voices to campaign governments for change.”
