Random Acts of Kindness

Here at Chuckling Goat, we are not looking to continually grow our business. Instead, we think the time has come to deepen it. To us, this means continually getting better at what we do – and becoming ever more connected to our community.

We love supporting great causes and are pleased to have launched our Random Acts of Kindness Campaign! ✨

Do you know someone who deserves a Random Act of Kindness? A small but mighty charity that works tirelessly to help others? We’d love to hear about them – email info@chucklinggoat.co.uk with “Random Acts of Kindness” in the subject line.

We’re loving the feel-good factor of donating CG goodies to charities big and small, local and further afield, nominated by YOU and our team members. Take a look below at the donations we’ve made so far…

James Support Group

One of our customers nominated James Support Group. This admirable charity offers support for all affected by suicide & those who suffer suicidal thoughts.

Here is what they say:

Whether you are a mum, dad, husband, wife or partner, brother or sister, aunt or uncle, granny, grandad, friend or colleague we are here to help you.

We are not councellors, just a family stricken by grief who are prepared to help others in the same situation. We have taken it upon ourselves to attend various Training events & information sessions, and actively network with other groups & organisations for the common good. Since becoming a registered charity in October 2020, we are now able to expand our support service to cover The Scottish Highlands, where we provide monthly support groups, break out personal sessions as required, a 24/7 Helpline & various other support events throughout the year.”

A big thank you / diolch to all at James Support Group – we hope your team enjoy the skincare goodies 💙

Seven Spokes Home Education

Seven Spokes, a special charity nominated by one of our customers, was started by a group of parent volunteers to provide alternative education for children with diverse needs.

Here is what they say:

The learning at Seven Spokes speaks to the soul of the child. Through imagination and feeling, as well as ‘doing’ they experience a range of topics, in an age-appropriate way, that help them to understand the world and their place in it. We create a positive, encouraging learning environment that enables each child to thrive and grow taking into account their diverse learning needs. This is a holistic form of education, celebrating each child’s unique gifts and their contribution to their community within the framework of the Head, Heart and Hand.”

If you are in the Somerset area and are interested in your child joining this project or would like to read more about their work or donate, please visit their website or Facebook page! 🏡💚

A big thank you to the Seven Spokes team for this great photo!

Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal

One of our wonderful customers nominated “Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal” for our Random Acts of Kindness Campaign ✨

It was so lovely speaking to Pam, Hannah’s mum, to let her know they’d been nominated and that we were sending them some goodies!

Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal continues to honour Hannah’s legacy by providing memory-making holidays for children with cancer and their families.

It was our absolute pleasure to send the team a selection of our skincare products to enjoy and a few goat teddies for the children they support 🐐

A huge diolch to you all 💛

To read more about their incredible work or to get support – please visit their website or Facebook page.

You can find our skincare ranges here and our CG merchandise (including very cute goat teddies ;)) here.

Please note, as we aren’t medically trained, we cannot recommend the use of any of our products during active cancer.

Alzheimer's Society Cymru

Many of our team members have friends and family members who deal with Alzheimer’s and Dementia daily, making Alzheimer’s Society Cymru very special to us all at CG.

Here’s what the Alzheimer’s Society say:

We’re the only dementia charity that offers dedicated support to those who need us now, campaigns for change and funds groundbreaking research for a better tomorrow. For over 40 years, Alzheimer’s Society has been a powerful force for change, improving the lives of people living with dementia. We’ve spent time listening to people who deal with the disease every day, and amplifying those voices to campaign governments for change.”

We were pleased to send a selection of skincare products to the team working in the West Wales/Hwyel Dda area, as a thank-you for all the hard work in our local community 😊

Special Care Baby Unit, Glangwili

The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) will always be a precious place to our RAOK coordinator, Emily, as her twins spent the first 8 weeks of their lives there.

The care and support they received during a very difficult time, and as first-time parents, was so special and the incredible staff did everything they could to make it that little bit easier.

If you’re on your NICU or SCBU journey right now, you can find invaluable support and advice at https://www.bliss.org.uk

It was so lovely to hand deliver a selection of CG goodies for both SCBU staff and parents to provide a little pick-me-up and say thank you 🩵
