Complete Prebiotic – Ingredients & Additional Info

Dosage: 10 grams every morning. Work up to the full dose slowly over 2 weeks. Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the day.

Directions for use: Add a small amount of water to the powder and mix into a smooth, lump free paste. Top up with more water and stir to your desired consistency.

Miso (7%)

Prebiotic provided: IMO

A traditional fermented Japanese food rich in the prebiotic fibre IMO, probiotics and enzymes. Miso is also a great source of copper, manganese, vitamin K, protein, and zinc.

Maitake (7%)

Prebiotics provided: Beta-Glucan, Lactulose, Polydextrose

A great source of the powerful prebiotic fibre ‘Beta-Glucan’ and one of the few natural sources of prebiotic fibres Lactulose and Polydextrose. They are also rich in antioxidants, vitamins B and C, copper, potassium and amino acids.

Quinoa (7%)

Prebiotic provided: Arabinan

A rich source of the prebiotic Arabinan and one of the few plant foods that contain sufficient amounts of all nine essential amino acids. It is also rich in magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants.

Spirulina (7%)

Prebiotics provided: Xylan, Galactan

This algae provides a great source of both Xylan and Galactan prebiotics. It is also a great source of vitamin B1, B2 and B3, copper and iron.

Psyllium husk (7%)

Prebiotic provided: Arabinoxylan

Extremely high in fibre, psyllium husk provides a great source of the prebiotic Arabinoxylan. It has also been shown to benefit constipation, diarrhoea, blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and weight loss.

Arrowroot (7%)

Prebiotic provided: Dextrin

A great source of the prebiotic fibre Dextrin. Arrowroot is a rich source of rich source of vitamin B9, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, and phosphorus. It has also been shown to promote growth and development, enhance digestion, boost the metabolism, ease stomach issues.

Chicory (7%)

Prebiotics provided: MOS, Inulin

This powerful root contains large quantities of MOS and Inulin – 3 powerful prebiotics. It also contains some manganese and vitamin B6, two nutrients tied to brain health.

Tamarind (7%)

Prebiotic provided: Xyloglucan

This sweet-sour fruit is one of the few natural sources of the prebiotic Xyloglucan. With great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties tamarind is a traditional home remedy for diarrhoea, constipation, fever and peptic ulcers.

Orange peel (7%)

Prebiotic provided: Pectin

Orange peels provide a great source of Pectin, a prebiotic fibre that with great anti-inflammatory properties known to regulate blood sugar, cholesterol and pressure levels.

Rice bran (7%)

Prebiotic provided: XOS

An excellent source of the powerful prebiotic fibre XOS, a favourite among Lactobacillus spp. and Bifidobacterium spp. probiotic bacteria. These probiotic bacteria have been shown to decrease cholesterol levels, improve digestion, reduce inflammation, stimulate the immune system and inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.
