Valentine’s Breakfast

Get ready for Valentine’s morning and treat yourself (and your gut bugs!) to this decadent Red Velvet Overnight Oat dish 💓

Ingredients:

Serves 1

1/2 very ripe banana

1 TBSP finely grated fresh beetroot

1 TSP cacao powder

50g rolled oats

1 TSP vanilla extract

150ml milk of choice (goat, oat or almond milk work best!)

Fresh strawberries and dark chocolate to serve (optional)

Method:

  1. Mash the ripe banana til smooth then add the fresh beetroot, cacao powder, oats, vanilla extract and milk to the bowl and combine.
  2. Pour this mixture into a sealed/covered container and leave to chill overnight, in the fridge.
  3. In the morning, stir your oats, and top with strawberries and dark chocolate for extra yuminess!
