Super-simple yogurt bowl: the perfect meal to support your gut health!

This delicious bowl of goodness provides your gut with beneficial bacteria and a variety of prebiotics. This winning combination will help your gut microbiome thrive!

A yoghurt bowl can be the perfect meal, snack or dessert. It provides all the textures and flavours you could want from a meal – creamy, yet crunchy, tart but enough natural sweetness to suit any sweet tooth! It’s loaded with friendly bacteria, fibre, other macronutrients and micronutrients. This yoghurt bowl will keep you satisfied and nourished. It even uses seasonal fruit to provide an extra nutritional boost while being more environmentally friendly, of course!

This recipe is suitable for anyone, no cooking skills required. Making nutritious food, easy!

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 200 g of live Greek yogurt
  • 1 TBSP of Pure Fish Collagen
  • 1 handful of homemade granola (check out this recipe – Healthy Homemade Granola)
  • 1 handful of frozen raspberries, chopped
  • 1 handful of fresh, chopped cherries (remove the stones first!)
  • 1 TSP of almond butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1 TSP of pomegranate seeds
  • 1 square of dark chocolate, grated (optional)
  • If you need any extra sweetness, add a drizzle of yacon syrup or honey

Method

  1. Mix 200 g of live yogurt with 1 TBSP of Pure Fish Collagen in a bowl, until well combined.
  2. Top your yogurt and collagen mixture with all the other ingredients.
  3. If you need a little extra sweetness add a drizzle of yacon syrup or honey.
  4. Tuck in and enjoy!

It may sound too good to be true, that a meal this simple could be beneficial to your gut health but trust me, it is!
