This recipe works best using a juicer, as you don’t have to worry as much about cutting the ingredients up as small. You can use a blender and sieve, but you may need to add some water to help loosen up the ingredients!
Ingredients
- 1 kg carrots
- 1 kg apples
- 5 large oranges
- 40 – 50g ginger
Method
Makes approximately 1 L.
- Peel and chop tops and ends off the carrots.
- De-core the apples and cut into quarters.
- Peel the orange and cut into quarters.
- Place ingredients through the juicer, pressing through a couple of pieces at a time.
If using a blender, place all ingredients in and add 200 ml of cold water – add more if needed. Sieve the juice after blending. Or keep some of the fibre for extra gut health benefits!
