Ready to improve your skin?
So, turns out I’m a stat-geek. Who knew?
As an English major with a crappy little humanities degree, who always failed to balance my cheque book (back when cheques were a thing) I’m just not the likeliest type to crunch numbers. Except that I LOVE IT. Go figure. I just love the patterns that jump out. I adore looking into the data and seeing what the numbers say.
Now we’ve got this really cool thing on the home page, that allows you to quickly search through our 8000+ Trustpilot reviews for any health issue, condition or product, and see what real people actually have to say about it. The reviews are unfiltered, so it’s reality go-time!
This function has now been up for long enough that we’re starting to get data from it. As in – we can see what people search for most frequently.
And guess what the most frequently searched item was – outstripping the nearest competitor by nearly 80%…….
SKIN.

Surprised? Me too.
Because – you know – we’re GUT specialists. So what does gut have to do with skin?
Turns out – everything.
Your gut and your skin are in constant conversation, even though most people never think of them as connected. Your gut isn’t just there to digest food — it houses 70% of your immune system and helps decide how calm or reactive your body is. When things are balanced inside your gut, the immune system behaves sensibly. When they’re not, the immune system becomes jumpy, and your skin can end up showing it through eczema, acne, rosacea, psoriasis or unexplained rashes.
When your gut lining is irritated or weakened, tiny particles can slip through into your bloodstream. Your immune system sees them as intruders and responds with inflammation. And that inflammation doesn’t stay neatly in your gut — it circulates. Your skin, which is highly sensitive and constantly renewing itself, often becomes the place where this internal irritation shows up. In many cases, skin symptoms are simply your body saying it’s overwhelmed internally.

The bacteria living in your gut also play a surprisingly direct role in how the skin behaves. Healthy microbes help calm inflammation, manage histamine, and support the absorption of nutrients that your skin relies on to repair and protect itself. When those microbes are out of balance, your skin can become reactive, slow to heal, or prone to flare-ups. This is why topical treatments often bring short-term relief but don’t stop the cycle from repeating.
Detoxification is another overlooked link. Your body is designed to eliminate waste through the gut, but when your digestion is sluggish or overloaded, that system backs up. Instead of being cleared efficiently, unwanted substances circulate and the skin becomes an alternative exit route. That’s why improving your digestion and bowel regularity so often leads to clearer skin, even without changing skincare products.
And then there’s our old friend stress, which ties everything together. Stress alters your gut bacteria, weakens your gut lining, and raises inflammatory signals throughout your body. The skin is particularly sensitive to these changes, which is why flare-ups often coincide with emotional strain or exhaustion. When you calm the gut and nervous system together, the skin usually follows — not because it was the problem, but because it was carrying the message.
Long story short – you will never clear a skin condition like eczema, psoriasis, rosacea or acne by topical applications alone. (This is not news to you, if you’re wrestling with one of these conditions!) That’s because they’re not just skin conditions. They’re GUT DISORDERS. And you’re going to have to heal the gut, to clear the skin.
Our protocol combines drinking our kefir, in order to heal the gut, and then applying our kefir lotions to the skin. That way you get probiotic goodness from the inside and outside at the same time.

Does it work for skin conditions?
Don’t ask me – ASK THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE SAME SKIN CONDITION YOU DO. They’ve tried our protocol, and they’ve posted their comments. Just click on the link here and type in the skin condition you’re wondering about.
Data, see?
It’s the BEST!
