Natural power – 3 popular uses for CG Oil!

Did you know that the average woman hosts over 515 unique chemicals by the time she steps out of the bathroom in the morning?!

Environmental toxins, like the chemicals we find in household cleaners or personal care products, are not gut-friendly. At Chuckling Goat, we’re all about natural but powerful alternatives…

CG Oil is the must-have, multi-purpose alternative for your family medicine cupboard! A proprietary blend of essential oils, including lemongrass, clove bud oil, lemon, cinnamon, rosemary and eucalyptus, it can be used to combat skin infections, throat infections, and more.

Here are our top three uses for this aromatic oil…

Wound-care

Our CG Oil can be used as a wound soak, at a rate of 10 drops per litre of water. It has been lab-tested and found to be effective against MRSA, Campylobacter, E. coli and Salmonella, so it helps with bacterial infections that can slow healing.

We don’t recommend using CG Oil on an open wound – for this, we’d suggest medical honey on a surgical dressing over the broken skin.

Nasal or sinus congestion

Got the sniffles? Time to breathe some CG Oil!

Add three drops of CG oil to a pan of freshly boiled water, place a towel over your head, and inhale the steam for three minutes, morning and night, for the duration of the infection.

For small children with coughs, prepare a pan of boiled water with three drops of CG Oil that can be left under the bed, for gentle steam to permeate the room. CG Oil is also safe for children in a diffuser from 4 months.

Room diffuser

Oil diffusers are a great way to infuse your home with a continuous and subtle scent while avoiding the potential danger of flames and toxins from a candle. Use one to three drops of CG oil diluted in water and add to an oil diffuser to fill the room with a gorgeous scent!

Always patch test first, and if you have any medical conditions or if you are allergic to any medication or materials, please seek advice from your GP or pharmacist before trying these remedies.

We do not recommend any of our essential oil combinations for use with pets, either topically or in a diffuser.
